About - Kari

I have been in the travel industry for almost a decade working as a flight attendant for a major U.S. based carrier, making the shift to travel advising at the beginning of 2022. My love for travel started when I was a teenager.  I was obsessed with the travel channel and Anthony Bourdain's show "No Reservations".  Although, growing up in small town Mississippi not straying too far from home, I felt like I would never actually be able to go to any of the places I would see on tv. 

Once I became a flight attendant the door opened for me, and I was able to live out my dreams.  I realized you don't need to be in the airline or travel industry to be able to carry out your travel dreams.  All you need is a little direction and a passport.  My favorite travel quote is "I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list." Travel opened my heart and eyes to the world.  

In January of 2021, my partner and I decided to make our dreams a reality by relocating our lives to Costa Rica with our two dogs, Whiskey and Ginger, in tow.  After coming to this wonderful country a few times for vacation, we thought it would be a wonderful place to live and it hasn't disappointed.

For it being such a small country, Costa Rica is packed full of options for every type of traveler.  I want to offer my knowledge of the country to help others make informed decisions about their travels to Costa Rica.  We will explore multiple options to find the perfect fit for YOU.  Whether you are looking for a more relaxed beach vacation, a wellness retreat, wanting an adventure centered trip, or finding the right vacation rental for your family, there truly is something for everyone.
